According to health privacy laws the athlete should always be able to view their health information. If an athlete would like to see the information that has been recorded for them in HEADCHECK, including all of their tests and notes, the best way to do this is to set up an Athlete account for them. (If the athlete is a minor, then please check out our article about the HEADCHECK Guardian account.)
Here are some of the things an athlete can do with an account in HEADCHECK:
- Update their medical information in HEADCHECK
- View tests or notes that have been recorded for them
- Complete a self evaluation of their current symptoms to give their caregivers an update on their current status
- Check which of their teams and caregivers are using HEADCHECK
One option on how to set up Athlete accounts for your athletes in HEADCHECK is to contact our support team at support@headcheckhealth.com and have us set them up for you. If you have a Team Medical Staff or Organization Medical Admin account, then you can set up the athlete's account yourself - please check the article How to set up an Athlete account for more info, (you'll need to sign in to the Support Center to view this one).
